Newbie Hi

Greetings all, this looks like a friendly site for travellers. Glad to be here. Hoping to hit the road in July. Work and covid put a hold on the last two years plans so getting restless.

Welcome to GN"s Jim. In the RFDS you will have already seen some of Oz that would make most GN's envious.
This can be a very friendly forum with lots of good information to impart, the not so friendlies as mentioned by Doug are just old and cranky old farts with a particular bee in their bonnets, overall they they are no better or worse than any bunch of senior's.

If new to the life I'm sure it won't take long for you to sort the wheat from the chaff - I strongly suggest that you read all Forum topics and Editorials to get maximum benefit.

The main thing is to get good information regarding RV's prior to parting with any hard earned, there are a lot of sharks in the pool.

Thanks for the welcome, and the advice. Sadly with the Flying Doctors I didn't get to fly, I was stuck in an ambulance taking some of the load of Ambulance Victoria.  But I love travelling Australia, not so much for overseas travel.
