Hi Bruce that certainly is a nice looking vehicle with impressive stats.However,with 1930kg rear axle,and maximum towball weight of 300kg,along with a GCM of only 6000kg,there is no way known that it would SAFELY tow 3500kg as a PIG trailer (van).If you wanted to take a 'walk on the wild side' you may be able to tow 3100kg.With the generally recognised 10% towball weigh you would have 300kg(+/-) maximum towball weight,and GTM of 2800kg behind a car with GVM of 3080kg,giving 5880kg total weight of car and van.In actual fact,you'll never reach that either because 300kg towball weight takes over 140kg off the front axle of the car,and puts 440kg onto the car's rear axle.BUT for a van up to around 3100kg,it is a most impressive vehicle with more power than the run-of-mill twin-cab utes around the country.It's not for me,but certainly a great vehicle at a good price? Many may say that it is too expensive,but always it must be remembered that you get what you pay for.Cheers

These are features that should be included in any modern vehicle at that price point.
I do not own a Volkswagen Amarok V6 but we do own a Nissan Navara V6 since 2014 and I can tell you this for free, " I have cause myself a bit of grief by buying a car with such awesome power, economy and a 7 speed auto", you will say but the rok got walkinshaw this and that.
Well we have had our suspension done by a leading Australian Rallying company, handles like dream, extremely comfortable across all roads, updated the brakes and to top it off a complete tune.
There is very little out there to choose from unless we spend that sort of money because I can not see myself driving a lesser car.

Well said Graham.My car cost more than that,has NONE of these "features",and I am not interested in acquiring them either.Managed to drive for close on 60 years,both legally and not,without them.Gimmicks for people who can't really drive,in my opinion.Cheers
