Eberspacher update.. first post 11/1/21

Hi, I ended up taking it to Caboolture Caravan repairs as they said they had a set up to plug it in and check what was wrong. They we're busy and said they couldn't look at it till the 15/2/21. No worries..  numerous phone calls with every excuse I ever heard and TWO. Months later :(( was told it was a lemon and not worth fixing. At this point no charge was mentioned. I thought about it and decided to pick it up, they showed me photos of carbon in concombustion chamber, I said that's not mine ( I had pulled it completely apart and no carbon , some smoke stain which I washed off with kero so it looked bran new) then they charged me over $200.00 to NOT fix it and not tell me what was wrong.. before I could get it..  I sent it to dometic at the Gold Coast. They told me within an hour what the problem was, blocked or partially blocked fuel.   Caboolture caravans still not returning my calls....   Might be good caravan repairers but I don't believe they know anything about Eberspacher heaters besides what their sales pitch is.

The majority of the time it is fuel related. Blocked filter, leaking join at piump etc. Dieselheat in Tassie take a lot of beating. Freed advice, very helpful. The last thing they want is for youvto remove the unit for no reason.
