About 15km south of St Arnaud, Victoria.

Rough camped in the forest by  small dam. Last night was -1C and today has reached a dazzling high of 11C but there is more firewood than one can point a chainsaw at and the roos, echidnas and goannas abound. I love this place :)

Spent a week at Batyo Catyo down near there in spring once it was cold then - not my sort of place in winter though

No reservoir here, just me and a small dam which is about 70% full.

It certainly is nice there in winter Mike. To me the bush takes on a whole different feel and smell in the cold. Bonus is not many people around and as your discovered wildlife abound.
