Be aware: these roads are ROUGH! The graders haven't been through (late June 2021), and vehicles are taking a hiding. There have been multiple cases of people (including locals) needing to be rescued from these roads due to busted axles.

There's no phone coverage, sat phones are hit and miss due to gorges and escarpments and there are a lot of places along these roads where you just don't want to be stuck.
