Photpgraphy

I do have some skills in photography after a lifetime of practice and have been teaching for many years. Now in retirement and with time on my hands I am willing to help anyone who has an interest and wants to improve. Either photography, image editing and related subjects.

I am not spamming here, but offer my Flickr page as a sort of CV. https://www.flickr.com/photos/barrybeckham/

Some very nice pictures in/on your site - Interesting use of light or rather the lack of it, it gives the appearance of oil paintings in many. Do you do many portrait studies?

Barry,

We could all do with an hour or 2 to view as many of your photos as we can, excellent quality and subjects are really well chosen. I particularly like the nature and water shots, but I think the Alice in wonderland photo was genius along with 100 others mate. We have traveled the world a few times and I can recognise lots of scenes from all over.

We both do photography and have a big stack of coffee table books full of our own photos and we keep getting people asking what editing program we use.

We have never edited any of our photos, they are 100 percent natural, we use 3 different cameras but my wife is a special photographer and leaves me for dead, the photo book company we use does an excellent job and we have seen some work others do and they are terrible. We have done a few family weddings and made the books for them and are mostly better than the photographer they used.

We would love to have taken some of yours, you must be so proud of the outcome and the education you are providing about the world we live in.

Thanks mate.

Photography is all about your "Vision". Its about your perspective of looking towards the things around you. Capturing right moments and let other cherish them is photography!!!
