This is my first post and its to highlight, what I consider a scam. Whilst searching on google for the Wikicamp Australia app I fell foul of a site whose pages are headlined as Wiki, offering fast download and free 14 day trail period. The next page is headed "Your card will not be charge", which then request credit card info (page captures attached). To my dismay going to my bank site, minuets later, I note a transaction pending, which I disputed with a telecon to the Bank. I was informed I could not cancel the alleged transaction whilst its pending. I cancelled my card and contacted the bogus site and got no response, not surprised, Eventually the bank as reimbursed my loss. My point is many oldies sometimes do not check the web address or realise there is a tendency on google to place adds before subject search results which are then titled to the relating search subject. I have complained to Google and probably wait in vain for any action, although this particular site has dropped down one position in the results.
Hope this helps someone and wonder if anyone else as been caught out like this !!!

Welcome to GN's Robert. There are many sites located in off-shore safe havens preying on the unwary and charging fees for connections to free websites or services.
