SWIFT HWS

Hi all,

We have a 2-year-old van with a Swift Gas/Electric HWS requiring the need to replace the relief valve on it.

I've got the valve but wondering what the easiest way is to replace it given its location in the unit.

Is there any advice, photos, video or instructions on how this needs to come apart to replace it?

Thanks

Mark

Welcome to GN's Mark.

Sorry I can't help you with instructions on replacing valve - although it seems pretty accessible from photo - just ensure you isolate any power to unit as an accidental touch to 240v with a spanner or such may give you more than a tingle like 12v.

When fitting new valve ensure you apply a smear of petroleum jelly and one (1) layer of PTFE tape on new thread.

Suggest you give them a call then. Usually helpful.

Make sure you turn off the water and release the pressure via the flip switch before doing anything else
