Winegard aerial not working


we have a jayco Journey 2019  pop top   and the Winegard aerial has stop working its the wind up type that has the  2 piecees any body else had this problem 

or after ideas on fixing  cheers

Are you handy with a multimeter? If so then check the voltage to the amplifier in the head.

Yes amplifier or connections . Ive recently gone through similar. I replaced cables the top section seems the issue ? I guess its the twisting or movement of arial . Water can leak into connection also .. I put resin inserted heat shrink over joints , connections . Slightly longer top cable for less flex !! I figure its a consumable part ? Replace every 5 or so years ??

Check the antenna wire splitter half way up the mast, l replaced mine with a jaycar unit,

Yes Joda your right ! Its often part of the booster also ? Not expensive ($27) and KNOW its fixed !!! Avoiding all problems !! Actually part of the connections !!
