converting a new axis 24"TV to a smart TV??

Has anyone succeeded with a google chromecast plugged into the TV's USB for power for the chromecast - it is not supposed to work ( suposedly the uSB cant provide enough power), but i dont have 240v available at the TV in my Windsor Simpson motorhome. So just wondering if anyone has found a work around solution!!??

cant help with your question directly , but could you run the chromecast via a powerbank . something like one of these

RE: converting a new axis 24"TV to a smart TV??

I use an Android IPTV box, such as this:- https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/164885982465?hash=item2663f86d01:g:apMAAOSwiPNgr1m4&frcectupt=true . It needs a 240 volt power source; an extension cord from an outlet to near your TV OR an extra long HDMI cable to run from the box to the TV.

In addition to running apps for 2 / 7 / 9 / 10 / SBS / Flash / Netflix / Stan / Binge / Britbox, I have apps that allow me to watch TV stations around the world and a huge range of movies and TV series on demand.

I also have an app that allows me to watch Channel News Asia, Euronews UK, Skynews UK, US news channels and Canadian news channel free of charge.

Finally, using Windscribe VPN, I can watch all of the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 stations.

I have a Telstra 5G service and I never experience buffering.

Look into an Android TV Box. Pay or don't pay to watch things. Are you saying you have only a12 volt supply at your TV or no spare 240 volt outlet? Easy fix for another outlet if that is the problem.
