we have a 2021 Ducato with the 9 speed ZF auto trans with a WINDSOR SIMPSON body and love it! Just wondering if anyone with a Ducato tows a Jimny or similar- interested to hear how it affects performance. So far, been truly blown away with the road performance of the Ducato, but also starting to realise how limiting it could be not to have independent transport once you arrive somewhere.

Hi Eian. Although I have no direct experience with your model of car, it does appear to have "modest" power and torque figures? However,if you have been "truly blown away" with the vehicle's performance I am sure that towing the lightweight Jimny would not cause you any grief. Good luck with your project! Cheers.
I flat tow my 2008 Suzuki Jimny (1180kg, Auto with a Dog clutch) behind my 2018 Fiat Ducato Jayco Conquest and have had no problems at all (up to Cairns and back to Melbourne) and I can hardly notice it on the back, I wouldn't leave home without it.
My Jimny is standard, I have been told that if they have a lift kit they are not suitable to flat tow.
