Looking for advise & recommendations as I have just purchased a 1989 Mitsubishi Canter With A Winibago "Off Grid" fitted to the back
Turbo Deisel with 3 speed auto box
22 feet long Tare 4000kg GVM 4500kg with tow bar rated @ 2600kg
I understand that its not just a matter of purchasing any vehicle towing so looking for recommendation of what vehicle to purchase to tow behind her
Look forward to your responses

I would suggest the smallest and the lightest but it depends on what you want to do. An iRoad is will provide local trips with cover from the weather but won't do off road trips.
Welcome to the gang Arron, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I have seen many different small vehicles being towed behind various types of vehicles but one I see most of, is a little Suzuki Jimny. They are small but big enough for two and 4X4, so best of both worlds. As for how they are towed, well, again, there are different types but again I see mostly a A frame set up. Appears to hook on under front of car and to back off towing vehicle. All towed vehicles have a sign on back saying 'Vehicle being towed'.
I hope that is some use to you.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

This part of the forum is for introductions, so I suggest you should pose your question in the Technical section. Maybe start in the subsection of Weights and Measures. Before considering what vehicle to tow, you need to know what capacity you have for towing and how to tow it.
When posting your question, it would be helpful to include more information. Peter asked earlier, what are the weights as they will probably be your limiting factor. You said Tare and GVM, but what about the GCM? That is the maximum allowable combined laden weight including what you are towing. And with only 500kg payload available I think it will be difficult to tow a vehicle on an A frame and remain within weight limits.
Also, do you have a link for the Off Grid attached to the back? I searched but only found that term in model names of Winnebago. What does it do, how much does it weigh and is it included in the Tare? I am assuming it was added after market and therefore its weight would be consuming part of that valuable 500kg payload.
By the way, the correct spelling of Winnebago will help searches (assuming that is what it is).
