'Tis 1790kg. Front is 1390kg. GVM is  3180kg and GCM is 6680kg. Wheelbase is only 2850kg. Don't even THINK about towing any more than about 3100kg as a PIG trailer  (van) if safety is of any concern.Great car though. Happy to help you with weights if you wish. Cheers

Good luck there, but why would you bother when such information is easily found online. Probably in owners' manual too. Cheers

Hi Gordon.. Bit tired last night and gave wrong figures, now amended. Can't guarantee they're correct, but that's the best I can find at moment. Sorry. Cheers

Geez, what a mess to a simple question.

There must be an owner with a user manual with specs who can answer.

The OP appears not to have the manual details.

Didn't notice you rushing in to offer any help here, Dick. Unless you can offer an alternative set of figures it probably would be nice if you kept your thoughts to yourself? Not all user manuals show rear axle ratings, for obvious reasons, which may be why the OP asked here for help? Experience tells me that calling Toyota for help with things like this is pointless. They simply don't know, and on this question I spent a lot of time seeking answers. There are many variables that affect the axle rating, even down to what fuel the car uses, but the figures that I posted were the best I could find. An ounce of help surely is better than a pound of criticism? Cheers

Cruiser 105 owners manual detail (we own one).

GVM must not exceed

GVM with 1HZ diesel motor - 3180kg

GVM with 2UZ-FE motor or 1HD-FTE motor - 3260kg.

Axle loads must not exceed following.

1HZ- Front 1550kg, rear 1950kg

2UZ-FE and 1HD-FTE - front 1630kg, rear 1950kg.

That is straight from the owners manual for a 2006 Standard 105 Landcruiser.

Hope that clarifies things.

Thanks Ian, for providing  these facts. These are the same figures I have in my records, and that I supplied initially, as evidenced in Snap's post at 7.48pm yesterday, but further investigation had me doubting their accuracy, so I did a lot of research, finding the other set. Thanks for removing any doubt. I now will put a tick alongside the figures in my records to show they're all good! Cheers

Thanks Gordon, for letting us know that you're sorted! So many don't bother, so it's refreshing to have assistance acknowledged. Asking Toyota never was going to be an option. Good luck with your travels. You've got a good car there.. Cheers

Sorry, but can't help there as that series ran from 1998 to 2007, with the turbo-diesel introduced October 2000 to further complicate things. Different engines came with different ratings, which is where I stumbled on the second set of numbers I posted. Perhaps you could try the LCool forum, but it's a nightmare to navigate! You may be able to do your own research if you get all details from your car's compliance plate, particularly year/month and engine number. Good luck! Cheers
