Optitec caravan and boat wireless movers

I have an older Optitec caravan mover and it was working fine until two days ago. The unit turns on, the turning function works but not the forward/backward function. The unit turns off by itself.  The battery is recording 12.6 volt but is there a certain voltage limit.? Is there a reset button? Does anyone know where i could take it to have it tested out without taking back to the manufacture that is not expensive?

Thanks Rob & Julie, I did called Gary and I took the unit to him and it was the remote control. I am lucky because it is the least expensive item.
