A brief new post to share the short interview about our travelling lifestyle on ABC North Queensland this afternoon.

Interesting/informative interview - I must admit to never have seen a blood-red waterfall before despite many years out in the bush.

Great stuff, as usual.

I love reading about your experiences.

Thanks for sharing (as they say).

Got to agree,

You certainly write a great blog of your travels.

Hi Cuppa.

I am new to this forum and I will be taking advantage of reading your experiences on the road.

Thanks everyone, & Rick J if there's anything you want to ask just drop me a line. Always happy to share my thoughts or to have others others to bounce their ideas off me.

When MrsTea & I first considered travelling around this big island 22 years ago we found a lot of support & validation via online forums from those who had gone before us. It was of great value to us helping us to counteract the naysayers who thought we mad or foolish to adopt a travelling lifestyle.

Of course we now know we are just a drop in the ocean of all those travelling & living on the road, but we have never forgotten the importance of the online community we were part of back in the early days, & still today I see forums (and our blog) as not just a form of sharing, but as a means of 'giving back' & 'paying it forward'.

Many of those who were our support & mentors are either no longer with us or are no longer travelling, but I hope in a small way I can emulate them & enthuse others as they enthused us.
