I'd like to find someone, who does replacement windows.
So that we can install windows that open, and that have built in fly screens.
I'm yet to find anyone who does this though.
Any ideas?
We are based in Sydney.
Caravans Plus can supply windows with shades and screens - You will need to remove existing windows and spot weld a metal panel to the opening then nibble out to suit new window. Relatively easy job but finding a repairer willing to do it would be at a premium as there is so much work backed up at all Sydney Caravan Repairers - CaravansPlus: Identifying Seitz Windows & Replacement Parts
You could try Motorhome Doctor at Mt Kuring-gai. He is associated with Trakka campervans & may have experience in the conversion. I have used him in the past & very happy with their work. Ph: 8294 8577 1/12 Yatala Rd.
A little more research has unearthed Dove Campers in Welshpool Perth WA. They build camper conversions and are also agents for Kea. Possibly they could assist with a contact in Sydney

If you know these vans, the only opening window in the living area, is the one in the side door.
That's pretty stupid and, I agree, you will cook!
Until you can get the windows done perhaps one or two 12V fans near the opening window blowing to the rear of the van and the rear doors partly open? Maybe a jury rigged chain for security.
On the new windows don't forget that you will need insect screens too.
In regard to the Scan Gauge mentioned by Peter consider the Android/Apple app. Torque and a $15 ebay Bluetooth dongle instead.

Yep. Seems stupid. But then I'm a newbie. I guess people have found ways to cope.
Getting some quotes to replace the windows......
Not that I'm worried about 'cooking', but......
The dealer is fitting 2 fans above the beds for us, along with rear door flyscreens.
And I discovered a gadget (door latch/prop) that allows the rear doors to be 'locked' but still be 1-2 cms open for airflow.
