Bright and East coast routes?

Hi All, considering a holiday that ends up at Bright in autumn, say mid April. Has anyone done the Autumn Festival? What would you suggest as a route from Adelaide to include  somewhere around Eden up to approx Batemans Bay then ending up at  Bright. we have a month to 6 weeks time frame and leaving Adelaide mid March ish Either direction is fine. Towing 20ft van. Thanks

If you're planning to stay in Bright during festival time, you'd better book now, its packed to the rafters.

Your photograph shows a dog; be aware that much of east Vic and SE NSW is National Park.

I would largely follow the coast: Great Ocean Road, Queenscliffe ferry, Mornington Peninsula, Bairnsdale (maybe Philip Island), Buchan Caves, Mallacoota (maybe), Eden, Tathra (watch the bend just south on the downhill), Cooma, Jindabyne, Corryong, follow the Murray, Kiewa Valley, Bright.

iirc that route is bitumen all the way but there are some steep climbs/descents on the leg from Tathra to Bright, you will need a capable and well serviced tow vehicle and good wheel bearings and brakes on the van. The trip should be achievable in six weeks without rushing.

Enjoy :)
