Reverse camera

Im having a rear camera installed tomorrow on my troopie. The tech wants to mount it off centre on the left door however Im thinking down low were the four bolt holes are above the hitch. Another location is up high on the rear light above the doors looking down. Only want it for hitching up. Any body with a troopie with a camera installed. Any photos would be appreciated. Thanks

If mounted off centre you will always have a parallax error when attempting to hitch, confusing the hitching - Don't do it. - have it mounted dead centre.

As Possum said dead centre is best.  I have a Pajero Sport and the reversing camera is off centre and can be a pain when hitching up.

Agree with dead centre. I also think up high looking down makes hitching easier to judge.
