hi all

any one running one of these and are they any good Dometic CFF45 Fridge Freezer

I assume you mean CFX.

 

I have run my CFX28 as a freezer. Works brilliantly, it gets down to -26.8°C even though it says -22°C (lowest setting) on the fridge.

 

You will need more solar input & more battery resources when sun is not shining as it will consume a lot more power. 

 

Insulate the fridge thoroughly to minimise energy wastage.

 Dometic have 2 types of models.  One is CFF and the other is CFX, so OP probably does mean CFF.
