I had sat tv for 15 plus yearsand it was good I switched to starlink several months ago and it is fantastic. Sat tv just gives you tv whereas starlink gives you internet, tv streaming and ph calls I sold my sat tv equipment and will never go back

We have one, its been reliable and worked well for about 8 years now, works as long as there is clear sky to the north, we have got fairly good at working out if it will work or not before unhooking. But if we got another van now I wouldn't pay to get another one, would instead look at Starlink, the set up costs are a lot lot less and it gives you internet anywhere you can get clear sky above which can be used for streaming tv and phone calls. There is a monthly fee but you can pause it if not travelling and many people find they can change their phone plan to a much cheaper one once they are using Starlink for most of their data needs.
