Likely us oldies won't see this development Pity though!

"Let me start with couple of scenarios: First, imagine using one liter of water to power two-thousand miles of distance on your Tesla. Next, imagine if you could generate as much power from that liter of water as an eighth of a ton of coal. If these scenarios grab your interest, then let me tell you about an amazing company called Brilliant Light Power."

Thanks Dorian.

My suspicions were raised when the website had only low res videos and nothing concrete other than marketing propaganda.

However with all the talk about hydrogen vehicles I wonder what those in the EV charging industry are thinking. Their outlays to develop and install the infrastructure would be huge. So I am sure they will be keeping a close on the hydrogen developments. Who would spend all that money if EVs were going to be quickly replaced by a different technology in the short term? And who would buy an EV if a vastly superior technology was coming soon?

For those those tempted by the claims but unable to do the searches, here is a quote from the Wikipedia article above of an old quote, that probably  sums it all up :

By 2008, Park continued to express his skepticism:

"BlackLight Power (BLP), founded 17 years ago as HydroCatalysis, announced last week that the company had successfully tested a prototype power system that would generate 50 KW of thermal power. BLP anticipates delivery of the new power system in 12 to 18 months. The BLP process,[40] discovered by Randy Mills, is said to coax hydrogen atoms into a "state below the ground state", called the "hydrino". There is no independent scientific confirmation of the hydrino, and BLP has a patent problem. So they have nothing to sell but bull ****. The company is therefore dependent on investors with deep pockets and shallow brains." Park[41]

Those hydrinos are hard to get rounded up ready for the market. However bull**** seems much easier to sell. As always !! biggrin

The question that keeps coming up is WHY do you people spend some much time and effort
looking for negative comments/articles about renewable energy, EVs and the list goes on.
Why not instead look at the benefits.
If in doubt about the damage emissions from fossil fuel are causing, look at what's happening
in Greece and the heat wave in Europe.

 Agree + about a 100 magnitude.

Some people have a vested interest.

It is so tiresome, it makes being married for many decades look like a piece of cake.

Probably the OP has lots of shares in fossil fuel industries. That's the conclusion I came to ages ago.

I have over 10,000 shares in IGA but I don't push the issue to my advantage weekly to push up insurance costs.
