I was in the process of booking a caravan park for 3 nights next week in Sth NSW, as I was doing my online booking I was asked if I was a member of G Day Parks, I ticked NO, price $135. Then I thought most of the parks I stay in are G Day, so for a 10% discount for A $40 2 year membership I should probably join, which I did. Went back to the C P booking, ticked YES to membership and guess what, still $135. Think I just wasted my $40. Ian
I am a member of Gday and a couple of others. you do get a 10% discount on the bookings. i always go to the CP site put in the dates and other info. and it comes up with the price. The $135 you mentioned is before the 10% is taken off. I never book on line but always call them as sometimes the net is wrong with the vacancy available. Also if you have your super with ART, Australian Retirement Trust, you can get a 15% discount at any Gday park as ART is a majority owner of Gday but only if you do the booking online.

Yes the $135 was before the 10% is taken off, problem is I still paid $135 as a member
