I think I may have posted this article before. But if so it is worth another listen

Whilst we do live in perhaps the greatest country on earth, we also have to put up with all the different taxes levied on us by our elected government of yesteryear and today.

Just highlight in the top of the search bar, on a computer press control C (the letter c at the same time as the control button) after doing that put your cursor where you want to paste and press control and p at the same time. I usually put a space after doing this so I dont add any more to the code. A tablet and phone are slightly different.

That link ends up at a Google mailbox. I hope that's not what you wanted everyone to see.

And John Howard on introducing the GST said that it was replacing all the other taxes. Yeah right. I think they have forgotten all about that.

Sorry. Donations to political parties are deductions from taxable income. (I think. haven't considered the issue for a loooong time.) Not exactly tax free.

I think there may be a few more tax increases as Big Nose and Boy Wonder left us 11 billion in debt.

From the title of this subject, in reality, NO, everything is taxed in some way, even the air we breath.

But it was agreed to by the states, and then they reneged on it keeping all their things like stamp duties etc, blind freddy should have forwarned John the states would do it, as they had form things like this, just like when the states were forced to stop taxing fuel, smokes, grog etc because they had no powers to tax anything, Qld lost out on that on because fuel etc was always cheaper there, just like labors Medibank Qld already had a free health system paid for by the Golden Casket lottery.

Because states cannot impose taxes, they use levies, duties and licencing to rob us blind.
