Hi, I have a mid 80s 16 WindCheater Poptop van, with single axel safety tow trailing arm coil over shock suspension.
The van tows great , but seems to sit a bit low for my liking, plus I have to use a fairly long drop hitch on my 200 cruiser.
Does anyone know of any cost effective and efficient ways to upgrade/modify the suspension to increase the ride height of the van, ie...longer shock/strut/coil combination.
If possible I would like to raise the ride height 25-40mm when loaded.
Welcome Texas;
It is pretty pointless having a trailer higher than tug can clear.
A 30+ year old van, would hardly be worth expensive modifications, IMO.
