Ford Australia has issued another recall for the recently launched F150 pickup, affecting all vehicles sold locally.
The courtesy lamps fitted in the vehicles do not comply with the requirements set out in the Australian Design Rules (ADR), the company says in its recall notice.
The affected vehicles do not comply with ADR 13/00 Installation of Lighting and Light Signalling Devices.
This follows a recall from March, where a total of 2020 F-150s were recalled for being noncompliant with ADR 13/00. However, this recall affected only long-wheelbase versions.

Likely to be the that the lamps are not marked for Australian or European Standards.
They have to have molded markings to indicate their compliance usually an E in a circle.
I belong to a car builders club that specialised in Individually Constructed Vehicles and we run into this regularly, with many lights made in countries that don't have Standards or do but are not recognised here.
We have to ensure the ones we buy are so marked or we get a knock back at licensing.
The lights probably work just fine, but there is no way of proving compliance without the markings to show they have been tested for compliance.
