Looking at recording a daily travel blog . Would like some recommendations on what platform to use . Have used Word press previously but they have upgraded and not finding it very user friendly now . Also need to be able to add photos and be able to print onto a book.
Any suggestions please.

As a simple freebee, you could use something like We Chat on your mobile phone, which I use to communicate with my sons who work overseas. You can type or "talk to yourself" and this simple platform will save everything you type, speak or add as photos. I can look back over several years to see what I have spoken about with my children, both of whom work overseas. I used to use this app to record trip details when compiling reports for 4 wheel drive trips when I was in a 4 wheel drive club. Simple, quick and effective. But not a word processing program.

Ta, I haven't finished yet, just having a break whilst we prepare for the next lot of travels with our new vehicle. Not sure the OP wants what I use though. I have Wordpress.org on my own web site. It's often updated but I wouldn'y say it has become user unfriendly. Can't speak for Wordpress.com (Online service) though. .org has a lot more choice as to how you present stuff, but does require a steeper learnng curve at the beginning.
