Can anyone help me as to which is the best insurance company to go to for a good price.
Last year our caravan was broken into while it was in our driveway and of course I have securely cameras. lock on the hitch and a lock on the wheels.
They forced the door open stolen everything broken into the locked box and emptied that as well. Police were notified and camera evidence was provided.
This year the insurance has doubled and half which is in my opinion extreme. Its my first claim ever.
While there is nothing else, I could have done to protect our van, a still penalised as the insurance cannot recoup their monies as the thieves as they still haven't been caught.
I have also not some insurance companies in their policies now do not cover Flood, Bushfire or cyclone events
