It's nothing new - a friend sent me some photos he took immediately after TC Tracy. He was house sitting for a work mate - the house was wrecked. Fortunately he was at work when the cyclone visited - a drama in itself, not knowing how families were faring.
He said the police visited his 'camp' on Boxing Day & asked if he had a gun & advised if he saw looters, he would know what to do!! He said there was between 50 & 60 looters caught & charged.
