Hi Everybody. Although I am new to the site, I have been camping for over 25 years. I started off with a Jet Tent, then an OZ Tent. after I got tired of this I bought a Cub Brumby. It was easy to tow, but was dreadful to sleep in when it was windy. Did the Simpson in this. Sold this and bought a T-Van. Another excellent camper, but when wet, was difficult to pack canvas away by one person. Sold and bought a new spec Cub Escape to do Cape York. Awesome, but as I lived on the coast it didn't weather well. Sold this. Bought an Ultimate Camper. Another one that is easy to tow, but set-up / pack up every-time was getting tiresome. Great camper, lots of space, and very comfortable. Guess what? Yep. Sold this and bought an A-Van Aspire 555 Pop Top. I got sick of campers. Now I just pull up anywhere, pop the roof, and it is ready in less than a minute. Happy days. Since I have had this, I have installed a diesel heater, and RV Airlifters in the roof. Airlifters are a great piece of kit. I am reasonably fit and strong, but had trouble with the roof. With the Airlifters, just turn on the pump, and in 15 seconds you can lift the roof with one finger. Although it is still heavy to put down. I have Satking, Aircon, and solar panels on the roof.

I am hoping to travel more.

Hope to see some of you out there too.
