Can anyone recommend a good service centre to look at my Waeco 65l fridge, in Hobart, please? The centres linked on the dometic site are sales centres, not service agents. At least, based upon the call I just made, the person answering the phone suggested they could "organise" a technician to look at it.
Not sure if this should be in Techies corner or not, but this appers to be the more used section of the forum. Apologies if incorrect.
If it is under warranty take it back to the place you bought it from if possible. Under Australian Consumer Law they are ultimately responsible and if they do not do servicing than they have to make the necessary arrangements.

Item is certainly not under warranty, it is nine years old. I did get a call back from one guy on the Dometic list who was unavailable at the time I first called. He does do Dometic service work but is currently flat out with other work. He has been excellent with assistance over the phone, but pointed out (as suspected) that it may not be good economics to repair, depending upon the issue found.
He has explained some things I can do to assess repair myself and offered phone assistance to do so. I will look at it when in Hobart in a few days, hopefully find an easy solution! It is great to find someone willing to assist even when they are busy and knowing they are not being recompensed.
