We are looking at buying a new LDV 6 metre motor home, we are selling a Crosstrak caravan and tow vehicle so motor homing is new to us. This motor home has a north south bed that is a couch/table by day. We were wondering what people generally do with the bedding during the day? We thought attach a fitted sheet to a mattress topper and roll up this, the doona and pillows and store near the rear doors so you still have room to sit at the table. Does this sound feasible or is there a better way?
My sister in-law in Germany, for their second caravan made sure they had a bed at both end of the caravan. Like me, at our age, some form of sleep is of the upmost priority!

I have seen a Sprinter Campervan with a shelf above the driver/passenger seat that holds the bedding.
Also a 6m Sprinter setup with a couch/bed, North/South, the table is dropped at night and an extension added to get the 6'6" length or so. During the day the thick mattress stopper is wrapped around the extension, inserted into a made up large pillow case and held against the side wall above the 90l frig., When travelling the bedding is in a large bag under the table, when stopped for anytime/overnight the bag is put onto the drivers seat out of the way. For lunch the table has an offset pole and can be moved around to give more room for knees/feet under the table with the bedding bag still under the table.
Bedding of course can also be folded up and put under the seats/couch.
