This section might be more usable if you were able to create sub-sections based upon geographical areas.
State/Territory would be a good start, but you could split reach state into sub areas too - North, Central and South WA for example.

Does anyone know a good cheap campsite around Coffin Bay / Port Lincoln? I have had to stay at caravan parks more than I like to. Some of the bush camping doesn't feel very safe - too far from the road and often almost deserted.

Moorook S.A is $8.00 per night, great grassy shaded sites. One toilet block (no shower) and a dump pint adjacent to toilet. The campsite is on the banks of the Murray River, great views with the occasional speed boat and jet ski. Sweet filtered water avaliable next to Green Shed opp kids playground. There are 2 free BBQ's cleaned daily by a caretaker.

Need a tinny or Kayak as there are geat whiting fishing grounds 150 to 200m off-shore, just out of reach of the shore anglers. Wangary is only a short drive away.

This section is getting huge now - is it possible to get it into sections as per state ????- as some camp sites are listed have only a name no location or GPS details - just a thought

Yes, I have to agree with that bales. Under the main heading there could be a section for each state, would maker it easier when travelling.. Also the individual heading should say the name of the place and exactly which state it is in and perhaps details of how to find it in the camps book if it is in there.

Fully agree - that is how it is set up on Caravaners Forum site - so easy to find spots.

Well done from me too. Will make it so much easier when travelling through a particular state, to be able to click on that state and see the relevant places.

Just had a week at Bracknell Tasmania out of Deloraine, free by the Liffey River, just beautiful, also Myrtle Park, Targa Tasmania, 1/2 way between Launceston & Scottsdale Tasmania, $3.00 per night, hot showers, brilliant camp kitchen, laundry, store and cafe, brilliant scenery, huge area, the most beautiful trees, with St Patricks river running the boundary
Hi Imj601,
Yes I can also vouch for Myrtle Park Tasmania, its a beautiful spot.
A place I was disappointed with was Parkes showground NSW, they charge $20 for powered site a night, toilet/shower facilities are dirty & dog poo all around the place

Christies Beach just outside Echuca Vic., is not a bad spot, but a bit hard to find, also doesn't have any toilets or anything, so need to be self sufficient!!
Please take your rubbish with you when you leave, as many campers are leaving rubbish & soon places like this will be shut down, due to people leaving it like a tip!!!
So always leave it cleaner than it was when you got there!!
