It is in Queensland, with a famous, rather large, former resident.

Not Kingaroy TDs.
Think outside the box regarding who or what the resident could be!

Well done Brenda and Alan. Eromanga it is, home to Cooper the Titanosaur, Australias largest.
The new Natural History Museum is well worth visiting as part of the QLD dinosaur circuit including Hughenden, Richmond, Winton, Mt Isa for the Riversleigh story, Boulia, Lark Quarry dinosaur stampede and of course Cooper here.
Hello all, been a while since I visited, for some reason I stopped getting emails, but today this one popped up, so will take a guess at Corella Dam in North Queensland

Not Qld. The hill on the right is a very recognizable feature when the water level is low as is usual.

Is nobody else playing now. This site is a free camp in NSW with a 21 day limit. It is about 20 Km from the nearest town. You could say there is a connection to the Philippine's.

I have no idea. Wee Waa is a cotton growing area though. Is it near there?
Close but no cigar, it is on the Manila river . This reserve is about 40 Km northward from Manila.
Strange I thought this site would be well known amongst the free camping grey nomads. Roughly 40 acres of grounds mown by a small herd of cattle on the banks of the Manilla river.

The site in question is Glen Riddle reserve south east of Barraba on the northern arm of Split Rock dam.
Over to anybody who wishes to post a photo.

Above is the Knotasaurus at Eromanga!
Where to next friends.
A couple of pics of a good campsite after a very wet spell, there is usually just a small flow in the river.
