When using a generator we clear the area for the genny first,then place a fire blanket on the ground, place generator in the centre of the fire blanket. This could be the difference between a bad day & a disarster. They are not expensive & available from many outlets. Safe camping.

Dust storm from NSW has just hit the Sunshine Coast; is very warm and humid here. Yet I hear at home in Mount Gambier it is 16 and raining!!!!! We are going home in about 10 days time, so will be finding it a tad chillier than here!!
