(Preview)
Has anybody had experience with 12v power station (as opposed to battery boxes) shutting down when a 12v fridge stops due to being cold enough and then filling to restart. If so how did you overcome the problem?

(Preview)
I am about to buy a van and outfit it to live in. The writings on this site have helped me to make the decision to spend the extra for an Engel refrigerator, and now I seek advice about power for it and other appliances. I am not an electrical engineer, nor fancy becoming one, so I mean to buy a battery-in-a-b...

How did the Federal Budget help your cost of living.

The Federal Budget only delivered the tax break and the $300 electricity bonus to us. By the way, we could survive without the grant of the $300. What about you? How did you go? Jay&Dee -- Edited by JayDee on Wednesday 15th of May 2024 06:50:56 AM

Waterlogging of campsites?
(Preview)
NSW and Vic have had lengthy periods of rain in recent months and I am wondering how it has affected in a general nature, the average campsite. If someone on safari can fill in the gaps for me with a bit of a summary that would help, it would be much appreciated. B

Before flat screen Tv's in caravans.
(Preview)
What did folks use for watching Tv in a van? In the old days, probably before about 2003 or so. I can't remember before my caravan days. I couldn't imagine having the old type big box in a van. Were modern style antennas available back then.
