Privacy - what's that?

Note: Automakers can collect intimate information that includes biometric data, genetic information, health diagnosis data, and even information on peoples sexual activities when drivers pair their smartphones to their vehicles. The automakers can then take that data and sell it or share it with vendors and insurance companies. For more along these lines, read our concise summaries of news articles on police corruption and the disappearance of privacy.

And the latest - dunny seats in caravans that listen !!!!

Protecting your privacy today is basically impossible. As long as they dont take my house, car, caravan or money, I really dont give a hoot as its no use worrying about it.

That's not the point. In the UK and perhaps here we have gummint defence personnel driving Chinese made EV's and perhaps having sensitive conversations inside the vehicle. They also drive around defence installations.

If they could see me sometimes I think they'd give up spying!

I agree. It's very disturbing and outrageous. America is the worst place for this. Just watch Louis Rossmann's videos.

Cars monitor your driving habits and send the data to insurance companies.

Era of the dobba. They don't need to monitor, they get told with proof.  So don't make a mistake.  You will get told on.
