An almost perfect Sunday arvo at Bowna Reserve,Boat Ramp, Lake Hume. The same circus around fishing folk trying to load and unload their boats and gear, some no idea and some just ignorant as always.

Our "loveable " native birds , IBIS, appear to graze on the battery acid from recycle area at our local tip, about 1.5km away. Somedays it must get too hot and heavy, so released at home.The black goopey stuff.

Manly Fairy Penguin, it is thought he/she was hit by a propeller, the two indentations in the white feathers, but apparently from what I last heard he is doing ok. He slept here for the night. 300mm + 1.4 extender f5 6 1/8sec iso400 with ancient Canon 5D2.

They started to roll in just before easter,drop toilets, tables,change rooms,pristine trout river,and zero cost $00.00.

From our base camp on the Mitta Mitta River,we went up to Falls Creek. There is a fair bit to see,and there is a lot of great walks, and mountain bike trails for those who are fit enough.
