Your absolutely right ...reached 43 on our back verandah at 3pm this afternoon. This photo was taken at 5.30am this morning - have not had one decent sunrise all summer but this is about as good as it gets. Will have another couple tomorrow

As part of the 150 year celebration celebration Queensland rail is sending a train on 11 regional trips over a 5 month period. Travelling as far north as Cairns, west to Mt isa and south to Wallangarra. We were in barcaldine when the train came in last night to much fan fare. I have attached a couple of pic...
