This has a lovely long sandy beach on a river,the river was a bit dirty after a storm last spring. Water monitor

I don't normally feed wildlife,we have a water monitor that comes up from the river and feeds on insects on the front lawn.This morning it came up to the front patio door looking for food. So I relented and gave it some mince meat,but the magpie didn't want to be left out.
