This has a lovely long sandy beach on a river,the river was a bit dirty after a storm last spring. The only steam powered winch in Australia with the engine,spars and cables still rigged. Built by the Washington Iron Works in Seattle USA. Imported to Australia in the 1920s,it is on the Bentley High Plains road Victoria.

I don't normally feed wildlife,we have a water monitor that comes up from the river and feeds on insects on the front lawn.This morning it came up to the front patio door looking for food. So I relented and gave it some mince meat,but the magpie didn't want to be left out.
