I have a Redarc BC-DC 1220 , under the bonnet of my Hilux , charging the aux deep cycle batt , just driven home about 3 1/2 hours . multimeter shows only 12.36 vlots , i will talk to a autolec tomorrow but dose anyone if BC-DC things are throw away items or a adjustable / fixable item regards Jacko

We have a ceramic heater with a thermometer and it heats ok but does not shut down as well as i would like it to so i thought is there such a thing as a thermometer plug, we could plug our heater into,that we could set as a high heat to switch off and a low heat setting to turn it back on

I have brought a 120 watt folding solar panel , I have hooked it up via anderson plug to my caravan , With the multi meter the house battery has a reading of 12.5 volts , But the reading on the lead from the solar panel is 2.5 volts is this normal

Does anybody know anything about some new regulation that basically states that your hitch cannot be higher than 540mm when the van is level. As it is I am dragging my WDH spring bar on the ground. Larry

We picked this up at a caravan show a few years back. It's the horizontal version of the old car scissor jack, it's job is to lock the wheels and act as a chock.
