Vodafone seem to have had a major outage the morning. I was swapping SIM etc thinking it maybe was my phone. Luckily I have another phone with Boost/Telstra, which I also have had network issues with. Swings and roundabouts.

Howdy, fellow GN's, Now, because I'm simple, I have a simple question to put to you all. Do you have and if so, what do you think of STARLINK? Does it work great? Do you have problems at any time and what? There is a great offer around at the moment. Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

My computer has been waiting days for an update. I have been ignoring it. Why? I was feeling like "I will not comply" Any how the computer got aggressive and stopped my utube thingo I was watching. Just seemed like I had an internet outage. So I went to turn it off and restart. When I did that there was no...

I'm curious as to whether anyone else has bought one of these phones? It takes wonderful pictures (far better than my older OPPO AX7) but I find it so frustrating as nearly every other program (some call them apps) requires a PDF of some sort to be downloaded. Then when I go to open a file, I end up with a pag...

Microsoft is terminating Calendar in Win 10/11 and replacing it with Outlook (ugh!). I'm having a hard time finding a free replacement that doesn't want my personal info, or other intrusive stuff. I have uninstalled Microsoft 365 because my 1 year free subscription ends soon. As a replacement I have installed Office 2007, why? well now I only use 2 parts of Office, word and excel. I am comfortable with 2007 where 365 is a bit too bossy.

I just upgraded my Moto G50 5g phone to a Moto G84 5g, in the van or when travelling in the Ute I use a Nighthawk 4g Wifi hotspot, instead of hotspotting from the phone, the reason behind this it saves you battery life. In the Van the hotspot allows all the devices like phones, tablet, TV etc to connect to the...

Bonus if I could find one that has a RF port for a external Ariel. Have had good successes with Samsung, last mobile phone was a Motorola which served...

My Huawei modem comes with software called HiLink that monitors upload & download traffic - something that's quite useful and interesting at times Most days when I do my email (2-accounts) + news sites (3 sometimes 4) sites + forums (3 sometimes 5) sites, it totals it all up to from 35Mb to 45Mb of d...
