Just a question to the learned sparkies on this section. My aged neighbours have some outside garden lighting which they think is off 240V, not 12V. The previous owner fitted or had fitted three light switches mounted on a plastic oblong switch box on an outside wall directly under an eaves overhan...

Hi Looking at replacing the tyres on my 2008 Iveco 6.5 ton MH and looking for recommendations. I am concerned that as they are approaching their 7th year they may be getting a little past their use by date. (they look pretty good and have only done 12k but the age worries me) any advice appreciated. Mike ...

I am interested in buying an aqua roll. Does anyone know if/where to buy in Australia. Van water storage is a big additional weight to drag around when free or low cost camping. Many vans can carry up to half a tonne of water which is weight I would prefer not to carry other than need the water. I usually car...

We have been in the van now for over three years, and decided (finally) that we should not put off lubricating our aerial. We got no instructions with the van on how to do this, but found this on uTube. Instructions made easy, and know we know what to do next time - and wont put it off for another three year...

We are having a look at Cost Effective Maintenances web site as we have only ever just replaced the engine oil and have never tried a flushing oil concentrate.
