If you are using eggs in a Jaffle Iron 50gm eggs fit better into them than any other size ,so they do not ooze out when cooking. Also while away we made scrambled eggs by just putting the eggs into an empty clean jam jar with what ever extras we wanted and shook the jar and bingo no mess ..also added this mixtu...

This is really a tip from Kaid. Visited her yesterday, and she showed me some Large Micro-fibre Towels. Camping stores stock them, [I googled some last night.] and although not real cheap, they are very light-weight, and don't take up much space. I'm going to get a couple just for the Van tomorrow...

To keep black lines off your RV where water runs from your roof onto the sides. Get a length of awning beading and thread it into the awning track. This 4cm beading over hangs the sidewall and deflects water and dirt from the roof away from the sidewalls.

To get a camp fire going quickly I use cotton wool balls with vaseline. Just rub petrolium jelly into cotton wool balls. Put them into a zip bag or storage container for future use. Really gets the fire started.

I found the step into the Hi-ace very slippery when getting in with wet shoes, so I've glued some of the Rubber Shelf Lining onto it. Works like magic. First lot has now worn out. Will replace it in the next day or so. Cheers, Sheba.
