How to store the Satellite TV cable to stop it from getting kinked, and so it would lie flat on the ground when used. Solved this by using a 24" bicycle tire, some Velcro straps, and while it doesn't look good, it works. This may not suit your vehicle, but may sporn ideas.

Dometic skylight hatches can in windy conditions unhook the mechanism and blow open, and break. We found a simple fix to lock the opening lever in place using Velcro strips sewn together, held to the structure with a plastic tie. Simple and works. I can post more info if interested.

Here is a trick I have just discovered , whilst doing my bearing and brakes on the van , had a leaking floor jack , was filling it up with normal oil but it used to leak out fairly fast , I'd have to leave it in the dirt all the time .
