We are permanent Grey Nomads and because we are not on "holiday" would love to stay in some areas for more than 6 weeks - we spent 8 weeks in Bowen and 8 weeks in Rockhampton and really got to know the area. Stayed at the Caltex star truck stop free camp on the back fence only one there great free stop $5 for key for a shower , Great meal in the Roadhouse cafe . Lots of trucks but very quite on the back fence

I have just posted in the jobs section about a position vacant for a manager for this camping spot. Please look at it if you think you may be interested. It is a fabulous camping spot for up to 72hrs with all facilities including pets. It would be a shame to see it closed. cheers, Robyn
