We are permanent Grey Nomads and because we are not on "holiday" would love to stay in some areas for more than 6 weeks - we spent 8 weeks in Bowen and 8 weeks in Rockhampton and really got to know the area. Took advantage of the 48 hr stopover for a little rest , Nice spot try to camp the grass edge, Hot shower provided this is a free camp but has a donation box to help provide the nice hot shower , On Friday night there was 36 Rv in the camp only 2 donation were given .
