G'day all. found this site by accident. loved it so much have now joined.please forgive a new one if this subject has come up before. I own the caravan as above .Have towed it thru most of QLD and love it. I  have tried to find anything about this make but google search dosnt recognise the brand.Any out there know this make? I mainly need info on the under floor aircon.

Gday Jack, and welcome aboard the good ship "nomad" the advance is a stranger to me but I have no doubts that in the fullness of time an owner will appear, if you have run away from this little beastie for those sort of miles then there cant be too much wrong (if anything) with it, there are some rough roads up there, what in particular is the problem, we have experts in all sorts of fields here, not me though I just drive them, if you explain exactly what it is then someone on the forum will be able to help you, forgive my ignorance but air con. normally has a head unit and ducting and very little else doesnt it??? is it the ducting that is the problem, if you cant find it I can bring a couple of mates over with my 9" angle grinder to help find him, may need technical help to rebuild it afterwards though, anyhow good luck aww

my brother had an Advance they were made in the same factory as viscount when the workers took over Viscount when they went bust very good van nice and strong.

G'day again. Thanks for your answer to my post.The problem i have is in the aircon thermostat. It seems faulty as it only gets super cold or nothing.it dosn't matter what is set as. It seems to have a mind of it's own. I know it may seem strange to some that iI worry about aircon but when you live in the Territory sher are a must until we get to cooler places. Again thanks for your reply.

Thank you for your reply to my post. Yes the van is good and tough. The only problem I have is the aircon has a mind of it's own. Dosn't matter what the setting of the thermastat it only runs super cold or nothing. we travel out of Darwin and aircon is a creat comfort till we get to cooler climes. Air con blokes here have asked me to try and get some info on the unit before they start playing.

they should be able to tell you about the aircon from the manufacturers plate on it brand serial number etc
