GPS navigator story

Was in a shop today to buy some new taillights and there is this bloke giving the sales people a real hard time because the GPS Navigator he bought did not tell him when he was in the vacinity of a mobile speed camera.....Not sure how any GPS could do this as the data is stored in the mapping software.... Was interesting to watch the discussion, the bloke ended up paying an extra $300 for a top of the line GPS, when he gets out on the road it still won't find mobile speed cameras.

I would have enjoyed watching you trying not to laugh. Must have been a great chat amongst the sales staff later.

I've been toying, err thinking, err procrastinating on whether to purchase one myself.  All I want is to  hear a female voice telling what to do next and being able to tell her to shutup without being in the dog house again...LOL

Yes the temptation to wet myself laughing was almost too much....
I bought an elcheapo one off EBay and it is ok but it does tend to get lost. I have a girl on mine "Audrey" very upperclass english lass and we do have some heated arguements but I always win, you see I know where the off switch is...
I don't spose you live near an ALDI? They have one on special for $199 of German manufacture supposidly quite good.
