"Honey, I'm Home"

well I'm back on board again, walking through the door wondering if there is anybody home cobwebs everywhere dust all over the place, where is the banter that we are so reknown for, the lively chat that I look forward to, certainly not here, all I here is the moaning of the desert wind in the silky oaks, first thanks to all who sent me emails and messages, I will get around to answering them I promise, Basil how is swmbo and gracie, all well I hope, whens the next trip in the gin palace, hows the mouth Grizz got your stitches out yet, dont worry about the money, mr sheen is going to give us pensioners squillions so we can play merry hell with a big stick and a bucket of eggs, whens the first trip, Veronica, the clutch should only take a day (we have 3 deliverys from adelaide per day here in port pirie) and the job is only an hour long, they have you at the back of the cue, tell them to rattle  their dags, when they do the job, make sure they replace the rear gearbox seal, pressure plate and thrust bearing and spiggott bush at the same time, the box will be out so good time to do it, John we are thinking of you mate, all the best,  ashely have you got the van, time for an update, frank havent heard from you for a while, weekly update past due isnt it, run out of bandaids yet, Mon where are you hiding, hows your dad, hows your camper going, behaving itself I hope, Pam hows the west coast, you"ve had some fantastic weather over the last week, and last but not least A BIG WELCOME TO THE NEW FACES AROUND THE VIRTUAL CAMPFIRE, pull up a chair, grab a beer and tell us your life story, your aspirations, your dreams, where you have been where you are going, what are you driving/pulling, what are your intentions, gary they shot me straight through to adelaide, bit worse than they thought, you know what I mean

Never got to Whyalla, went to spalding,laura.jamestown.peterborough,orrorro,port pirie, port broughton, kadina, wallaroo, moonta, maitland, port victoria, yorketown, marion bay, edithburg, ardrossan, price, port clinton and home.
I was thinking while I was away, I do around 50K Kilometers a year around Sa but I never really get to see it. Just driving from job to job.
Am looking forward to the time that I can take a leisurely look around the state.

like you say Dave work gets in the way of leisure. Hubby and I hope to take April and May off work next year and head to WA. Hopefully we will stop house renos long enough to do some camper trailer renos before we go. Still looking at second battery idea and a built in kitchen

I would dearly love to get back to w.a. but cant just yet, our renos are on hold now for a while, too hot, the next step is the front verandah, rip up and reconcrete, and a spear and arch fence across the front, too hot in the shed to build the spear and arch panels and too hot to concrete, 37 deg. yesterday here, concrete would dry too fast and crack up, so back to the salt mines for me, reaping at the moment so its all go, nevermind, need the money
