You would think by the time you've made it to grey nomad status  that you have seen it all.  But ! Wait there's more,  just when you think the world is a safer place   Local Government steps upto the plate .  The attached illustrates part of the very costly coastal walk program funded jointly by local rate payers and a little  federal/ state  funding .

When tackled over the obvious hazards associated with terminating the walk way on the road and asked why it wasn't cut back into the hill side  the answer is we are going to widen the road  around the walk platform . Incidentally the drop off where they intend to widen the road is about 10meters , not a cheap option,  but when you put space cadets in charge what else can you expect for LG engineers .
